Leaf is my identity, looks fragile, simple, but necessary, and it's green as it's alive, only lonely, as it's alone in the jungle of life.
Yes, the existence of leaf is not limited merely by space and time, but simply comes and goes following the cycle of life.

That's how the stories here are narrated, as it was witnessed by the lonely green leaf.

Just remember, life is not really alive when you cannot use and express your own imagination freely.
But if that's happen, just read the leaf imagination narrated here, and dream of it.

The pulse of the Universe

Watch the following video, and you will know what I’m talking about.

OMG, seems like a rage of the ancient god of thunder! He and his troops (if they do exist) ride thousands of horses, galloping to a battlefield! Amazing huh?!

Hold on, see this.

Yeah, I went to one of their show last night at downtown DC, and ……. I was stunned, just like nailed to the chair, speechless, hypnotized!! It was so awesome!!

It is not just drums! It’s about the feeling come from deep inside, under your subconscious world. It's a way to listen to the rhythm of your passion, expression of freedom, or the rumble of your anger, and the reveal of your potential hatred, or may the hidden peace within your heart, and the merrier of your open mind?? Awesome isn't it?! It’s Kodo who share the beauty of the heartbeat, listen.

Can you hear the roar of the waves, the galloping horses, or the sound of coming problems? The sound of thousand drops of water as a rhythm of the rain, or buzz of a swarm of bee, and the march of the million ants? And can you see the beauty of their synchronize movements when they play the Taiko (Japanese’s drum)? We are in the same frequency if you know exactly what I’m talking about.

Well, the Taiko played an important role in the ancient Japan. It’s said that the village boundaries are even defined by the farthest distance at which the Taiko can be heard. Wonderful huh?!

Hey, I didn’t realize that Kodo Taiko is the most famous group of Taiko players in Japan. It’s described that forty years ago, a group of young people in Japan yearned for a new way of live. They disappointed with the direction of modern Japanese way of life and eager to rediscover traditional roots and values.

They went to a small island in the Sea of Japan: Sado Island, and live in a village of their own design and construction. There, in peace they start play the world’s oldest instrument, the drum (Taiko).

Unfortunately the camera was extremely prohibited during the show, so above are all I have in memory.

I deeply value my experience of watching Kodo One Earth Tour (2013).
Take your time when there is a chance!
